For those who celebrate the holiday, happy Thanksgiving Eve.

What are you thankful for?

Me, I am thankful for the people in this group. For friends. Family. The time I am able to spend with F before his heart surgery related to his military service that is scheduled the end of the year (no matter how single digit it is going to be where we are while waiting).

Wishing everyone much peace and happiness this holiday season.

Tough week for me. Lost a suitcase. Need new clothes and actually found some that fit, but I can't get more until tomorrow at the earliest. Spending the week sith son and GS, and it sounds like our GS is attacking our son the same way his mother attacked our son. Meanwhile, our son is not blameless, but he has refrained for not dumping his complaints against exW on his son, but he is very unhappy with the unfairness of the attacks.

And yet ... I'm happy to be alive. I'm grateful for my son and GS, for our GS's sense of humor, intelligence, and discipline, for his interest in the world, for his being a pretty standard teenager. I'm grateful I can buy new clothes, though I don't see replacing the suitcase with the same quality - what I need at 80 is very different from what I needed as a road warrior 30+ years ago.

I'm grateful for my ability to drive 2000 miles and pedal over 1,000 on my bike. I'm grateful for being with my W.

Sorry about the suitcase Sisoon. I am hoping that your "lost" suitcase somehow finds its way back to you! I can’t even imagine.
