My wedding anniversary is in the next few days and the 1st one since finding out about the affair which was 6 months ago. All things considering we are doing well, I have my ups and downs but we fave them together now. I wasn't sure how I wanted to treat tomorrow, so husband suggested a hike up a mountain,he said it felt symbolic to where we are at, with a picnic afterwards, kinda feels perfect right now. Feels so trivial but I was a big social media poster and always had a well planned post (as did he) for our anniversary, not posting feels like it will draw attention but posting doesn't feel ok either...so weird the silly things that still cause pain, I miss the freedom and innocence of celebrating this day. Hugs to everyone here on this rollercoaster, I am feeling thankful that for now hubby and I are side by side in on the rollercoaster, taking it one day at a time ❤️

I hope you're able to enjoy your anniversary. Do what you need or want to do so you're not stressed out. The hike does seem symbolic in a way. Good luck!

Glad you have plans that feel right. And really, people will only glancingly notice you didn’t post if they notice at all. People are into their own things, so only post what feels right to you (and that can be nothing at all)
